SABER PROGRAMME

What is SABER?

The State Action on Business Enabling Reforms (SABER) is a government programme designed to accelerate the implementation of critical reforms that improve the business enabling environment across States and the Federal Capital Territory.

The programme builds on the successes of the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC) and the State Fiscal Transparency, Accountability and Sustainability (SFTAS) programme.

SABER seeks to strengthen reforms across areas including land administration, investment promotion, public-private partnerships, tax administration and the wider business regulatory environment.
